With an active family license, Records brings course progress and attendance together without requiring duplicate entry.
Progress
Filter by learner, course, and date range. Planned, in-progress, ready-for-review, and completed lessons contribute to the progress percentage. Skipped work is shown but does not lower progress.
Simple attendance calendar
Attendance opens on the Simple tab. Choose one learner, or choose All learners when the family has more than one, then use Month for a larger calendar or School year for compact monthly calendars. Both follow the family’s Sunday-first or Monday-first week setting, just like Planner. A green check means Attended, a red X means Absent, and an orange slash means Excused.
The primary adult can enable Show school year week under Planner Type in their profile. It starts off. When enabled, the calendar shows numbered weeks within the saved school year, and Advanced dates include the same week number. The first partial week is Week 1; breaks still count.
Choose a day to open the quick menu. Select Attended, Absent, or Excused, or choose Clear mark to remove a manual entry. Double-click a day to mark it Attended immediately. The square updates in place without refreshing the calendar.
Mark every learner at once
When the family has more than one learner, the Learner list begins with All learners. Choose it to record attendance for everyone together instead of repeating the same mark for each learner.
- Mark all attended today — this button appears above the calendar while All learners is selected. It marks every learner Attended for today, even when a different month or the school year is on screen.
- Choose a day — Attended, Absent, Excused, or Clear mark applies to every learner for that date.
- Double-click a day — every learner is marked Attended for that date.
A day shows one mark when every learner has the same result. Three gray dots mean Mixed: the learners have different results for that day. Rest the pointer on the day to see each learner’s result, or choose a single learner to review and correct that learner alone. Marking everyone saves a manual entry for each learner, including a learner who was already counted automatically. Notes are still added one learner at a time from Advanced.
Advanced attendance
Open Advanced to set the minimum number of completed course activities that count as an attended day for each learner. Tasked With marks attendance automatically from completed lessons. Filter the detailed list by learner and date range, then choose Mark or Edit to add a note or correct the day. Manual changes take priority over the automatic result and remain clearly labeled.
