Select your signed-in name and family name in the navigation to open your profile.
Each adult can change their own display name and one of ten profile colors. The primary adult can also change the family name. A surname such as “Smith” is displayed as “The Smith Family.” If you enter a possessive family form such as “The Smith’s” or “The Jones’,” that form is kept instead.
Appearance
Show daily greeting is enabled by default. Keep it on to see “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” or “Good evening” with your first name on Today. Turn it off to show the current day and date as the large Today heading instead.
Default screen on login starts with Today. Choose another currently available main-menu screen when you want it to open immediately after sign-in. The choices follow your visible menu destinations; if an optional destination is later hidden or unavailable, Tasked With opens Today instead.
The primary adult can choose a Planner Type. Calendar is the default and can show every learner together in day columns. Teacher shows one learner at a time with subjects arranged down the left and the week across the top. Directly below Planner Type, Shade lesson cards is enabled by default for both Calendar and Teacher. Turn it off to keep lesson cards unshaded while retaining the full-strength course-color dot and learner-color outline. When Teacher is selected, Include Sat/Sun is enabled by default; turn it off for a Monday-through-Friday planner. Show lesson checkboxes is also enabled by default. It places a completion checkbox beside each eligible lesson in the Teacher Planner; clear the setting when you prefer cards without checkboxes. Subject Labels defaults to Vertical and can be changed to Horizontal. These choices are saved immediately and do not change scheduled dates or lesson data; using a lesson checkbox does update that lesson's status.
Choose one of six pastel Site Colors: Meadow, Coastal, Lavender, Sunrise, Blossom, or Honey. Brightness can be System, Light, or Dark and remains saved until you change it. System follows the device setting.
Menu preferences
With an active Family License, the primary adult can arrange every visible left-menu item. Today, Planner, and Courses are always shown but may appear in any order. Progress, Attendance, and Grades are shown by default; Status Board, Printables, and To-dos start off and can be enabled as direct shortcuts. Status Board appears at the top when first enabled. Drag a checked item to a new position, or use its up and down controls. The menu preference controls and optional links are hidden without an active license.
