Student Mode is designed for a shared family device. It is not a separate learner account.
- Enable a learner PIN.
Edit the learner profile and set a private 4–8 digit PIN.
- Choose Enter Student Mode on Family.
Select a learner and enter their hidden PIN. Learners follow the family-wide Learner Display Order saved by the primary adult on Courses.
The learner PIN remains hidden while it is entered on a shared device. - Use the learner plan.
The greeting and date use the family time zone. The learner sees only their permitted work plus Routines and Activities assigned to them with a time value. A timed School routine or activity has Mark complete; after it is finished, Reopen removes the completion mark. Family-category items remain read-only. When an adult adds a resource to a course lesson, its card shows a type-specific button such as Access Video or Access Reading after the learner starts. The resource opens in a new browser tab and its button is hidden once the lesson is submitted for review or completed.
Learners can complete or reopen their own assigned, timed School routines and activities. - Choose Exit.
The app returns to a locked adult screen. An adult password is required to reopen the adult workspace.
Student Mode also locks automatically after inactivity. Adult routes cannot be opened while the learner session is active.
