A license ending never locks the family out of the core workspace.
The license page clearly shows an inactive or expired status and provides a place to enter a new key. Basic planning, daily and weekly plan printing, data export, and account access continue.
Portfolio files remain included in the free family export ZIP but cannot be viewed through Portfolio without an active license. AI import, recordkeeping, attendance, gradebook, report cards, transcripts, and other licensed capabilities stay unavailable until a valid key is activated.
If an account deletion request is restored during recovery, its license is restored if it is still valid.
