Getting Started

Create your family account

Register the primary adult and establish the shared family settings.

FreePrimary adult

The first adult creates the family workspace and becomes the primary adult. This role manages learners, the additional adult, licenses, and family data.

Before you begin

Use an email address you can open now. You will receive a verification message before signing in. During early access, you may also receive a separate invitation email with a single-use signup code.

  1. Open Tasked With.

Go to app.taskedwith.com and choose to create an account. If you received an early-access invitation, open its signup link instead.

  2. Enter the invite code if asked.

Use the code from your invitation email and the same invited email address on the account form.

  3. Enter your family details.

Add your name, optional family name, time zone, email, password, and matching confirmation. Use Show inside either password field to check your entry.

Enter the primary adult, optional family name, and shared family time zone.
Password and confirmation must match before the account can be created.
  4. Review the policies and create the account.

Open the Privacy Policy and Terms, confirm your acceptance, and choose Create free account.

  5. Check your email.

A confirmation dialog explains the next step. Close it to continue to sign in, then open the Tasked With verification message. Check junk mail if it is delayed.

The dialog confirms that account creation succeeded and email verification is next.
The help image shows only the verification email body—not the local email testing interface.
  6. Verify your email.

Select Verify email in the message, then choose Verify email on the page. The Account Verification Complete dialog returns you to sign in.

Confirm the address on the verification page.
The completion dialog confirms that the account is ready.
  7. Sign in.

Your Today page opens using the current date and time in the family time zone.

Expected result

You are signed in as the primary adult and can add your first learner. A surname is displayed as “The … Family,” while a possessive family form you enter is retained.
